Hi all,

I hope you're all enjoying our last few weeks of summer?

As we move into Autumn, I’m working towards a fantastic gig at York Theatre Royal for their Old Paintshop Series on Saturday October 10th. It's such a fantastic place and I'm really looking forward to heading back.

I've got some amazing musicians on board, the sensational John Crawford (piano), Andy Hamill (double bass) and Steve Hanley (drums). John and Andy are both hugely respected on the London scene and Steve is one fantastically drummer up here in the North. We'll be doing some great songs from my newly updated standard pad, as well as some jazz arrangements of fantastic tunes from other genres and also some tunes of my own I'll be giving a first spin out.

The new album is coming along really well and I can't tell you how much this process of writing a whole album of originals has taught me, not just about the music, but about myself too. More about that on the gig! So come along! Be the first to hear my own tunes before we head into the studio to record them. We’re incredibly excited to show you what we've been working on.

Much love to you Bx

RADIO SHOW: If you haven’t seen it already check out the ‘link’ HERE and in video’s of the fantastic BBC Radio 4 show ‘Soul Music, where I was asked to chat about my version of ‘Ghost Town’ by The Specials, which appears on my album ‘Jazz Just Wants To Have Fun.’ It was such an honour to be part of that show. Such an iconic song. Which I was thrilled to hear they also played. (Check out the album too, if you haven’t heard it. You can stream it on Spotify. You can also buy a CD)!!!

LIVE GIGS: Check ‘Live’ dates for more gig news and get in touch if you would like me to do a gig near you! There are some great dates in the diary and more to come. Hope to see you at one and do say hello!!!

Lots of love to you all,
